Chevron conveyor belt is designed for inclined transportation for conveying bulk material such as coal, sand, mineral, crop, package and bag depending on different loading material and inclined angle to choose suitable cleat height and chevron type to prevent loading material from dropping down.

Chevron profiles prevent or reduce slipping and increase the amount of product transported. A rubber chevron conveyor can transport bulk materials at angles of 17 ° – 18 ° and packaged materials at angles of 30 ° – 45 °. The profile and the upper face are vulcanized simultaneously for a very good adhesion and can be of general use, resistant to temperature or with any other characteristics similar to flat belts.

Chevron height

These are Chevron belts which, depending on the type, can reach maximum slope angles up to 45°.

Profile heights can be 3mm, 6mm, 15mm, 25mm or 32mm with patterns designed for maximum carrying capacities.

Two compounds of different hardness are used to create covers that are abrasion and tear resistant while the profiles are in a softer compound, more flexible when winding around drums.

General characteristics of the conveyor belt

  • They can be executed in the following structures: 250/2; 315/2; 400/3; 500/3; 500/4; 630/4; 800/4; 800/5; 1000/4; 1000/5 (where the first value indicates the tensile strength in N/mm and the second indicates the number of blades in the belt);
  • The strips can be made and delivered in standardized widths up to a maximum of 1600 mm.
  • The maximum execution thickness of the rubber strip expected for vulcanizing the chevron on it is a maximum of 12.5 mm;
  • Execution lengths are between 50 – 150 m;

Types of belt edges

  • ONLY CUTTING EDGES – are recommended for belts up to 10 mm and dry or low humidity working environments.
