The general purpose rubber conveyor belt can be used in all areas of activity in which materials are transported. This rubber band consists of a textile casing that provides tear resistance and its rubber cover faces which aim to protect the resistance structure of the conveyor from impact with the transported material by absorbing the shocks created.
Are constructed for the carriage of: limestone, cement, concrete, coke, slag, fossil material, aggregates, minerals, broken glass, salt, sand, grain medium.
Conveyor belts for general use are manufactured according to DIN 22102/1-2014 in the following quality rubber: Z, Y, W, X.
General characteristics of the conveyor belt
- They can be executed in the following structures: 250/2; 315/2; 400/3; 500/3; 500/4; 630/4; 800/4; 800/5; 1000/4; 1000/5; 1250/5; 2000/6 (where the first value indicates the tensile strength in N / mm and the second indicates the number of blades in the belt);
- The strips can be made and delivered in standardized widths up to a maximum of 2000 mm. Widths outside the standards can also be made on request;
- The execution thicknesses of the rubber belts are between 4 – 30 mm;
- Execution lengths are between 50 – 300 m;
Types of belt edges
- MOULDED EDGES – are recommended for belts with thicknesses greater than 10 mm and work environments with high humidity or highly corrosive environments;
- CUTTING EDGES – are recommended for belts up to 10 mm and dry or low humidity working environments.
