These rubber conveyor belts with textile insertion are recommended when the transported materials have in their composition fats or mineral or vegetable oils. Under the action of these greases, a general purpose rubber conveyor belt is subjected to a process of inflating the rubber with the effect of deteriorating the physical and mechanical characteristics of the belt, which can become brittle and unusable.

These can be used successfully at temperatures ranging from -25 °C to +100 °C. Ideal for the transport of oil seeds, petroleum coke, municipal waste, fossil additives, fertilizers, metal parts lubricated.

Oil resistant rubber conveyor belts are manufactured according european standarts in the following rubber quality: MOR, G, ROS.

General characteristics of the conveyor belt

  • When choosing the type of oil resistant conveyor belt, the type of material transported, the type of oil, the fat contained in that material and the concentration as well as the temperature of the material during transport must be taken into account.
  • They can be executed in the following structures: 250/2; 315/2; 400/3; 500/3; 500/4; 630/4; 800/4; 800/5; 1000/4; 1000/5; 1250/5; 2000/6 (where the first value indicates the tensile strength in N/mm and the second indicates the number of blades in the belt);
  • The strips can be made and delivered in standardized widths up to a maximum of 2000 mm. Widths outside the standards can also be made on request;
  • The execution thicknesses of the rubber belts are between 4 – 30 mm;
  • Execution lengths are between 50 – 300 m;

Types of belt edges

  • MOULDED EDGES – are recommended for belts with thicknesses greater than 10 mm and work environments with high humidity or highly corrosive environments;
  • CUTTING EDGES – are recommended for belts up to 10 mm and dry or low humidity working environments.
